ILOILO CITY, May 19 (PNA) - The City Division of Schools here is introducing innovation this coming school year to ease out congestion during enrollment in public schools.
Dr. Erlinda Gencaya, city division superintendent, said the enrolment innovation would facilitate the automatic enrollment of Grade Two up to Grade Six and Second Year up to Fourth Year high school by posting the names of pupils in their respective school room.

CEBU CITY, May 17 (PNA) - Cebu City’s daycare and pre-school teachers are now ready to implement the Cebu City Government’s “Genius Baby” program after they finished their two-week training on Montessori education.
Former councilor Joy Augustus Young, Cebu City’s education consultant who first proposed the “Genius Baby” program, said the teachers will take a more student-oriented approach, where children will learn to use their senses and be exposed to hands-on learning.
